2019 Hyundai Veloster

Fear not mid-level hatchback shoppers, the new stylish redesigned Hyundai Veloster has arrived and it doesn't even resemble the rest of the pack.  Car critics, writers and especially the Veloster's new owners are giving this 3 door hatchback great reviews.

For 2019 this sleek and handsome looking hatch now comes in five trims; one for just about anyone's budget and styling.  The new one that is causing attention is the “N” edition.  The N boasts a rear high-mount spoiler, sport bucket seats, an intuitive 8.0-inch touchscreen and an aggressive engine that punches out 275 horses and other sporty stuff.   So ready to take on those sporty cars that cost thousands more.
This Veloster N and other models are proudly on display with the friendly folks at Huffines HyundaiMcKinney located at 1301 N. Central Expressway or by calling the dealership at 469.525.4300 and so ready to take your expectations for a spin.  Just be ready for some “funky fun” in this 3 door hatchback.   Yep, the Veloster still comes with two doors up front and a third door on the right side with a wide opening rear hatch.  Also still available is the feisty 147 hp base model and the very popular choice among driver enthusiasts is the Turbo R-Spec that has under its handsome hood over 200 lively ponies with a slick shifting six-speed quick throwing stick.

If you prefer not to deal with the manual, then opt for the 7-speed dual clutch automatic.  With the mode in Sport, this Veloster sounds as great as it looks.  Car and Driver said: “Stylish, practical and satisfying to drive, the Veloster is also a blaring deal among sweet driving hatchbacks.”   Also, the trustworthy organization Consumer Reports recently gave the Veloster one of their coveted “Check Marks” for a Recommended Vehicle.  CR commented: “Handling is nimble, with sporty versions exhibiting tenacious grip in sharp turns.”  Yes indeed, this new Veloster brings back the good times big time while behind its sporty wheel.  Part of the blame lies beyond its handsome skin as the big switch from a twist beam rear axle to multi-link independent rear suspension that delivers more stability when taking on those country curves with a more planted feel.  It really was designed for the “young at heart”.
Another plus is a slew of safety features such as the very popular forward collision avoidance with automatic braking.  Hyundai offers an Attention Warning system that will monitor you’re driving and will alert you when it's time to take a break.  Thank you Hyundai.  Then for your communication and entertainment desires, you have the highly rated Hyundai Blue Link system that is so easy to learn and reach.  No help from your teenager here.

Without a doubt, the new Veloster checks all the boxes and the bet is on that you will leave with a smile, not only because you brought back that very important “fun factor” in your drive times, but for the great deal you received.  No better time than now.
